OUR HISTORY:
With humble roots that spawn more than decade, Ranga TV was first
conceived in the mind of veteran TV Reporter and Videographer Mr.Nihal Fernando
as to create a medium of entertainment that would be able to quench the
thirst of the thousands of Sri Lankans living all over the world.
In his career as a TV reporter and in many video recording sessions he
has participated – he has had many requests from Sri Lankan communities
residing in the countries of Italy, Middle East, UK, USA and Australia
to start a Television Channel that would be able to cater to their tastes.
These requests along with Mr.Fernando’s strong desire to create
a medium whose sole aim is not just profit but classic and authentic Sri
Lankan entertainment that can be enjoyed by all regardless of their cast
or creed led to the birth of Ranga Live TV.
Ranga Live TV boasts a program lineup that caters to Sinhala, Tamil,
Muslim speaking Sri Lankan communities all over the world. Its main aim
is to help all Sri Lankans feel truly close to their roots back in motherland
by brining them live and instant programs from home.
